Privacy Policy
TaroBom ("the Site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.
1. Information We Collect
The Site can be used without creating an account, and we do not directly collect personally identifiable information. Your tarot draw results are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.
2. Advertising & Cookies
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about Google's use of advertising cookies and opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Policy page.
3. Analytics
We may collect anonymized visit statistics (such as page views) to improve the service. This data cannot identify individuals.
4. Paid Payments & AI Readings
The paid "AI Deep Tarot Reading" is provided through vouchers (codes) bought on an external marketplace. We do not take payment directly, so we never collect or store card numbers or other payment credentials. (Where payment is taken on the Site, it is processed by Toss Payments and no payment credentials are stored here either.)
Readings bought with a voucher are stored on our server so you can view them again. We store the voucher code, your question, the drawn cards, the generated reading and the time. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number. Only someone who knows the code can retrieve them.
They are kept until the voucher expires. To have them deleted sooner, email olivia8741@gmail.com with the code.
To generate your reading, the question you enter and your drawn cards are sent to an AI model API (Anthropic) and used solely for generating the reading. We recommend not including sensitive personal details in your question. Generated readings may be retained for a limited period so you can view them again.
5. Card Reviews Board
If you post to the "Card Reviews" section on a card page, the following is stored in our database (Cloudflare D1):
- Nickname — whatever you type. We recommend an arbitrary name rather than your real name or a handle you use elsewhere.
- The review text and the time it was submitted.
- A hash of your IP address — we do not store the IP itself. It is combined with a secret value (a salt) and irreversibly hashed, and is used only to prevent spam and flooding. The hash is deleted 30 days after posting, leaving the post without it.
Reviews are not published on submission; each one is reviewed by a moderator first. Published posts are visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines, so please do not include anything that identifies you or another person — names, contact details, addresses or account information.
Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to block automated submissions, in which case the information needed for that check is sent to Cloudflare.
To have a review deleted, email olivia8741@gmail.com with the card, the nickname used, and roughly when you posted it.
